- Each song has a different main artist...except for the "bonus" tracks by Run-DMC, Cutmaster DC & Snoop. I couldn't leave them off just because they already had one song on the list.
- A LOT of old school artists did Christmas records. Much of the early 80's songs (aside from maybe the Treacherous Three song from Beat Street) are pretty terrible.
- In 1987 two christmas rap compilations were released...Priority's "Christmas Rap" and one from B-Boy Records.
- There have been a lot of albums released over the years that are entirely christmas themed. There are sons on this list from Death Row Christmas, Westside Bad Boyz High Fo Xmas (No Limit), Christmas at Luke's Sex Shop, MCM's X-mas In The Hood, A Dipset Christmas, and Afroman's A Colt 45 Christmas, Quad City: All-Star Christmas, an EP from ICP, and three songs from the 2003 comp Crunk & Disorderly (guess which songs).
