how do you think the pussy mother fucker who hit him 2X with the board while he was knocked out feels today? Got himself a first degree murder charge. How many years in prison does that charge get you in chicago? hopefully the little shits get to spend the next 70 years of their life watching the world from behind a barbwire fence.

The worst part of the story is to me that Darion didnt have shit to do with anything going on. He was a straight A honor roll student just trying to catch the bus to get home. Lil dude didnt deserve that shit.

The kids that beat and killed him didnt just end his life but they ended theres as well....

RIP Darion...this is the shit that makes me not want kids. If my kid got killed like this Id blow the fucking world apart

a result of the continued valuation of violent masculinity in a patriarchal society.

The absurd manner in which we come to understand and even teach young boys to be hard, tough, and violent in order to be "real men" goes unquestioned day in and day out in our society.

I urge you all to watch the documentary "Hip Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes". I show it in three completely different classes that I teach because it's THAT important...

Here's Part 1 (or you can go here to watch all 6 parts - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8YpcN7oKIM&videos=otuoFNrccPA&playnext_from=TL&playnext=1)

Curiosity shouldnt condemn people. Although I agree its a little morbid, its not like the person watching it is the person committing the action ant.
