ive been warned only 1 time by any ISP the entire time ive been in the download game and i download 10x more music than i do anything else. i only download music, software, and pc games off torrent sites when i do use bittorrent. and the music is 90% off albumhunt so all in all i download music with torrents very rarely. anyway the one time i got warned was for command and conquer generals and the expansion for it. they are cracking down on everything. music just happens to be the biggest case against pirating.
what about sites where people upload movies and you click the link and it sends you to stage 6, or veoh and you dont download the movie but just watch it..are there legal implications from that as well.
you guys can ask "what about this or what about that" all you want. I think the bottom line is the same thing dude above was saying. They are cracking down on everything in general and the only way to be safe is to not do it and if you still do it your at risk. I think if we download and talking to people about the way were are downloading no matter what program all we are doing is trying to convince ourselfs we are safe and secure from being busted even though we are just as at risk as the next person private tracker or public tracker. weither you download games or music or whatever the case may be.
Haha. I wuz thinkin' the same thing, wut if they read this shit and bust every1. That would be hella fucked up.
So duz Peerhelper keep people/RIAA from seeing your IP address? and if so, duz it affect downloads or anything at all? Also, yes, I have a lot of questions, but can you temporarily turn it off if you need to?
