Edge gonna be back by mania he appeared on fcw over the week and said he will be back first quarter of 2010. I think thats why they did that jericho angle to keep him on smackdown only so they can do the edge vs jericho at mania.
cm punk is an awesome heel and suffers only from wwe's horrible booking . he was one of the top heels in the industry just a few months ago when he ran jeff hardy out of wrestling and now he is right back to mid card

They already laid the groundwork for Edge to come back as a babyface with his video on Smackdown a month or two ago, so I highly doubt he'll be comin back as a heel.
^yeah that bums me out because edge is a fuckin' great heel. he is one of those guys that should be a heel 95% of the time...hopefully by mania he fucks someone over and goes back to heel.
i gotta say watching raw right now this is one of the weakest live crowds EVER even Vince addressed em and said they were dead ha. Even DX cant get a huge pop.
