I post on future producers every now and then, but I had to blast some of the "pros" out of the water. I use a totally different name on that site, and you'll never find out who I am, but I suggest you hit it and learn from it. Also homerecording.com (or org or net I can't remember) is cool.

My personal opinion is..if you trying to make hip hop and R&B stay away from HiP hop and R &B forums.....majority of the threads is someone who doesnt have a solid foundation in making beats,or music(or they are wack as fuck) trying to tell you what gear you should or shouldnt get.....

Some people may be aspiring producers and want to know what a certain beatmaker uses...you can find that info on there but its always shot down by somebody with fruity loops who have never used any other gear telling you..its all you need..and not fully understanding certain character certain equipment gives.......Oh and You will always hear..."It aint what you got but what you put in it" true to an extent...but ...put some maple syrup on shit and you wont be eating pancackes...its still gonna be shit.

once you pick-up some gear...go to the manufactures sites forum or a users group to get help....I like to go to home recording.com..but not the hip hop forum....I love sonicstate.com...harmonycentral....being no one can teach you how to create music..just use the equipment....i like to hear how someone created there custom patches etc...

I guess what Im saying is get outside the hip hop forums and learn the true potential of your gear(wich many dont know...me included
