I know there are already some threads on this but...I got the archives of Skywalk..and Sonny bo. I ordered online at their site on Thursady night, and had that shit on Saturday. That was good to see because as shit goes more digital customer service is very important..people want shit quick.
I have to say I was impressed by the music. In all fairness I feel most of the music was mainstream which may not be everyone. That is why I would recommend to switch it up a lil more. I think the mixdown was really good, I am not sure if it was the pre-amp or the reverb that was used that gives the vocals a certain glassy sound, which works well with many of the songs especially the ones with the thick pads. So overall ya gotta respect the effort and I am sure many of the younger kids will enjoy this.

I was thinking about ordering until I went to the website and peeped the snippitz. Out of the 4 thats on there to peep, I think Back of the trunk was the only thing I would slapp... maybe... but on a positive note they have a very web friendly layout which I found appealing.

On the real. Good muzik is good muzik... and i was really impressed by this cd. The snippets dont do justice IMO.

But if a majority of the people feel it, its gotta be something.

if you think its got that mainstream feel, then you know the whole package is gonna have that feel. So the cd, graphics, all that is top of the line.

Do we want Dago to get put on the map? Or do we want to just do turf music. Its a few million people in Dago every body dont gang bang so how we gone get a fan base big enough to make real money. Some niggas dont have 200 homies in there turf so if we just do turf music (like we r) we r not gone blow up. Niggas dont like main stream but niggas in Dago put more mixtapes out then albums. Lets be 100

See i think Dago artist pick and choose what attributes of main stream muzik we want to take and run wit. We aint start doin mix tapes til like 02/03.. Before that we always put out albums or Ep's (or in the case of the big homie Marlon Manassa wit the ragsdale's rich, a maxi single). But since now that being a "rapper" is easier than making it to ur first period HS class on time erybody and the mama is a "rapper". We still caught up wit that tryin to prove we're just as hard or harder gang bangers then them LA niggaz, which to me gets us over looked. Why should the industry look 2 hours south for a gang banger rapper when all they gotta do is exit they buildin and walk 15 minutes down the road (unless they were embraced by their whole city)? I'm not knockin anybody for makin what type of muzik they feel, I'm just sayin extend the same respect and don't knock us for tryin to get money as well.
