A 76-year-old man was arrested for allegedly masturbating outside of a Fort Myers Beach grocery store in plain sight of passersbys Friday afternoon.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office received a call in reference to an elderly man masturbating next to a burgundy van in the Winn Dixie plaza located at 17105 San Carlos Boulevard.
A responding deputy witnessed a man that matched the description, later identified as Francis Bianco, with his genitals out of his pants in plain view of the Lee Tran bus stop urinating on the ground, according to reports.
Bianco relocated his van to the north side of the building when the responding deputy arrived.
Bianco told the deputy he was urinating. The deputy asked him why he didn't go to one of the two open restaurants across the parking lot or behind the building to urinate. Bianco couldn't give an answer, according to reports.
The call was dispatched at 12:26 p.m., and the deputy didn't arrive on scene until 12:32 p.m. The deputy told Bianco that would have been a lot of time for him to have his genitals out of his pants if he was just urinating. Bianco didn't have an answer for that either.
Bianco was placed under arrest for Loitering and Prowling and Indecent Exposure. He was booked into the Lee County Jail
