What's the difference between parole & probation?

Shit, I figure the Siccness has all these convicts, so I should be able to get an answer, right? :classic:

violate parole, you go to state / federal prison

violate probtion, you go to county jail

1/parole: you go through that after you leave prison.

2/probation: is for those who have'nt graduated from county.

i think my bro was on parole for 2 years after his release from prison.

It depends on the state, in VA there is no difference between parole and probation anymore, but here in Cali there is. what those two said applies to Cali but not everywhere.

parole means you are released early from prision.

probation is given instead of sending you to county or prision.

in both cases you have to do the remaining time, or the time u never did when u violate

Question already answered, I just got off probation and I'm happy as fuck. My P.O's a bitch, I had to drop 3 times a fuckin week. She wanted to see me fuck up and get locked up again.
