that literally doesnt make sence.

but as far as you not likin him cus he on some gay shit then thats what it is. not everybody likes gays or even people who may be lightly sprinkled with gay. im sure he's aware of that. more dap to him for literally not givin a fuck what any one thinks, but not in a social menace way. im just sayin dude was typin realness, you can deny what Lil B was involved with but it dont make it any less true.

i dont get his music and i dont like it. i give a fuck if he's hollerin gay shit. that shit dont concern me. he aint ever gonna be around my exposed cock. but point blank, he knows how to market. "good" music can always be debated. "good" marketing cant.

i dont see him as really successful in the industry. he doesnt even have any commercial hits, and you would think someone on his level these days would. im just sayin he knows how to utilize the net. dude could be manipulating the game and makin numbers. but what ever he's doin, he's doin it. maybe he's tryna have these majors keep watchin. maybe he's just ridin a hype with no real "realistic" plan. i dont see his style of shit bein on a 106 & Park line up. i never cared for Lil B even with The Pack, but he can be a marketing consultant for majors and actually get paid that way.

love him or hate him lil b has shitted on the rap game. first he got in the mix as part of a rap group making a song about shoes nobody wears except white boys and skateboarders. then he becomes one of the fashion trend setters since the pack were one of the first rap groups to make dressing like white boys cool. then before he faded into rap obscurity he gets famous for making songs he puts no effort in and having a lot of funny videos on youtube of him dancing around his house. now he has a world wide following thanks to the internet and has his own loyal fanbase, catch phrases, etc.
IM A HAVE TO ROLL WITH PAIN JUNKIES ON THIS ONE...I DIDNT EVEN KNOW HE WAS PART OF THE THAT VANS SONG(HEARD THE RADIO PLAY IT ,BUT IT CAME AND WENT LIKE A HUNDRED OTHER SONGS)...OR HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH TOO SHORT.
WE DIDNT SEE TOO MANY CATS IN SO CAL START DRESSING LIKE THEY WERE FRESH OUTTA CATHOLIC SCHOOL NEITHER. MOTHERFUCKERS STILL ROCKED PLAIN T'S AND JEANS, JUST NOT AS BAGGY AS BEFORE.

I ONLY STARTED HEARING ABOUT HIM CAUSE HE GOT BEAT UP, THEN THE TITLES OF HIS ALBUM,SONGS,AND A SHITTY FREESTYLE (THAT SAMPLED A CARTOON MY KIDS USED TO WATCH)

THE NEW GENERATION THAT I KNOW,AND THAT FOLLOW RAP...THINK HE'S THE JOHNNY KNOXVILLE OF RAP...

BUT THEN AGAIN. WHEN YOU HEAR PEOPLE BUMPING... WHERE I'M AT.
IT'S USUALLY FUNK, ANY GANGSTER RAP(EAZY,DEATH ROW,BONE), HARD 90'S NYC HIP HOP(GANGSTARR,BDP,MOBB DEEP,NAS,MOP,HOVA),CHICANO RAP, SHIT LIKE SUBLIME,CORRIDOS OR MUSIC WITH A LATINO FLAVOR. AND FROM YOUNGER TO OLDER PEOPLE AS WELL AS ALL ETHNICITY.

SO MAYBE THE DEMOGRPAHICS IS A BIG PART OF IT AND MY AGE. BUT TO BE REAL I AM AWARE OF HIM...BUT HAVE NO INCLINATION TO EVEN WASTE A SECOND OF MY TIME,LOCATING ANY OF HIS MATERIAL.

IM SURE HE DOES HAVE A FOLLOWING...BUT REAL GOOD MUSIC IS TIMELESS...I GUESS WE'LL SEE HOW IT AND HIS CAREER, STANDS THE TESTS OF TIME.AT THIS POINT FROM MY PERSPECTIVE,THE MUSIC HASNT EVEN BEEN GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME TO GIVE HIM ANY BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.

I THINK PRINCE LOOKS LIKE A FAGGOTY ASS BLOUSE WEARING BI SEXUAL...BUT HE DONT TALK LIKE HE ABOUT THE BIZ OR ANY STUPID OFF THE WALL SHIT.

BUT THAT DUDE GOT SOME CLASSIC MUSIC AND THEN SOME...

^ this nigga knows lil b hole career ...can someone say homosexual
you must be stupid as fuck or retarded. if you listened to rap or had a TV for more than 10 years you probably heard of the pack, and if you've had the internet for more than 2 years you probably saw one of those lil b videos on youtube. you're acting like i did research into this, you can learn about this shit in 50 seconds on this website.

the jacka (ie. look to your left or right) gets beats from young l from the pack. too short brought the pack to us. almost every popular bay area rapper has worked with the pack recently in one way or another.

lil b probably sold a lot of copies of his cds independently too and from what i've seen he's been selling a lot of tickets to his shows. you can dog him all you want, but lil b puts 0 effort into his music and is getting rich off that right now. i'm not a lil b fan either.

WELL 4 US THAT RESIDE IN NORTHERN CALI,THE PACC WAS NOT A HIGHLY RESPECTED GROUP...PROBABLY CUZ OF THE SUBSTANCE OF THEIR MUSIC...ONLY ONE I REALLY LIKE AND FUCC WITH IS LIL UNO...HE IS THE ONE RELATED 2 SHORT AND HAS TIES DEEP ENOUGH 2 GET LOVE LIKE THAT. MY LIL HOMIES(THE KAMP) RAN THEM OFF STAGE AT A CONCERT A FEW YEARS BACC...SHORTLY AFTER IT SEEMED THEY ALL WENT ON 2 DO THEIR OWN THING. THEY ALWAYS HAD MORE OF A NEW GENERATION SOUND 2 ME AND I SUPPORT ALL CALIFORNIA ARTISTS OFF TOP CUZ I WANT THEM 2 SUPPORT ME BUT ACTING LIKE THEY WERE SOME BIG GROUP IS KINDA OVERDOIN IT IF U ASK ME.I KNOW A LOT OF OUT OF STATE PPL PRAISE CALIFORNIA ARTISTS BUT ON THE REAL,U HAVE 2 CARRY YOURSELF A CERTAIN WAY CUZ IN THE STREETS PUNKS AND FAGS DONT GET MUCH LOVE.I KNOW BEING WITH THE SHIT HAS NOTHIN 2 DO WITH RAP BUT IT CAN HELP IF U DONT WANT YOUR SPOT 2 BE TAKEN. AND ON ANOTHER NOTE,I KNOW WE ARE LOOKED AT AS HATERS 4 HOW WE FEEL ABOUT LIL B. BUT HONESTLY U CANT CALL ME A HATER UNLESS A NIGGA IS REALLY TIGHT. HE'S ONLY A PHENOM 2 THE DRUG ADDICTS AND DICCRIDERS OF TODAY.I DONT FEEL HE'S MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN ANY OF THE REAL RAPPERS I AFFILIATE WITH CUZ HE'S FROM BERKELEY AND I KNOW PEOPLE WHO FUCC WITH HIM PERSONALLY AND KEEP TRYIN 2 TELL ME HE'S COOL BUT I CANT GET DOWN WITH WHAT I DONT SUPPORT.ENTERTAINERS AND RAPPERS SHOULD BE 2 DIFFERENT CATEGORIES.I SEE HIM ON MORE OF AN ENTERTAINMENT QUEST THAN BEING AN IMPACT IN THE RAPGAME.WHEN IT ALL BOILS DOWN,SOME OF US RAP 2 EXPRESS OURSELVES THRU AN ART FORM WE LOVE...AND SOME ARE JUST IN IT 4 THE OOHS AND AHS AND BITCHES,ETC.
PAC WASNT THE GREATEST RAPPER 2 ME BUT HE HAD THE BEST DELIVERY AND A SOLID SKILLSET. I LOVE REAL RAP...IM NOT A HATER OF REAL RAP. OUT OF THE FEW LIL B SONGS IVE MADE IT THRU...HE'S NEVER IMPRESSED ME LYRICALLY...THE BEATS REALLY NEED IMPROVEMENT AND NOW HIS IMAGE IS BASICALLY FLEXIBLE AND QUESTIONABLE. ITS MORE ENTERTAINING WATCHING YOU GUYS DEFEND HIM THAN IT IS LISTENING 2 HIM.THATS ON EVERYTHANG. IM STILL REAL ENOUGH 2 RESPECT THE DIFFERENT STROKES 4 DIFFERENT FOLKS THEORY BUT SOME OF YALL NEED 2 SNAP OUT OF IT.4REAL THO

Make money, be creative, and do you. If Lil B is not doin shit for the Lulz and is not a fuckin prop then good for him. I'm sure the ends are legit with all these 12-18 year olds knockin his shit and lovin him on the net.

Either way tho, man this shit ain't for me. That verse he had on the "Grove Street Party" mixtape track off the Sorry 4 the Wait shit was fuckin horrible. I can dig a lot of different types of rap but to dude didn't rhyme one fuckin bar and his cadence was fucked up and the flow was horrible. For those of you guys that dig that kind shit, and there must be a lot of you on here. What about that verse would have any of you sayin that wasn't the worst shit you ever heard by any rapper over the age of 8.

i think thats the older cats tho player. im 31 and i didnt like The Pack either. i respected the fact that they was some youngsters that took advantage of Myspace and the net in general. they was catering to teens and such. but they did what successful artists do, and thats make successful records. by records, i mean Vans. i think its a dope song, they was just crappy rappers. not only did it chart a few times, it crossed culture barriers. i didnt slump the song, but i know people from thugs, to emo bitches, to little kids that liked that song. i think when Too Short co-signed, thats when it was pushed to us older cats. along with a FAB co-sign. the shit Lil B be on now is on some other shit. he got the whole different style, including the "shock value" shit. i dont think it (musically) represents The Pack's earlier shit. but again, i dont like either. i do like Young L. i think he a better artist. and he raps better now. he just needs to fuck with the right producer to help him make a hit. once he's in, i think he can be in for a while.

and though i dont agree with you about seperating rapper from entertainer in general, i do agree with you that Lil B is an entertainer.
