Yeah, that right, I can't remember what its called now, but I'm pretty sure the Willamette Week is one of the main organizers, and Cool Nutz was fuckin with it tough the last few years I think so he'd know the details, but yeah they put on a bunch of showcases for emerging talent and industry types, people can buy wristbands for the whole week/weekend to get into all the shows, they have conferences and other shmoozefests for networking. M-1 from dead prez was up here for it last year Im pretty sure, and a few national artists but mostly its people from the region. It was as big as South by southwest in Austin when the NW rock scene was poppin off humungeous, and in the new incarnation they added more hiphop and electronic acts, djs and whatnot too....
