Ok, so we have DJ's, Rappers, Graphic Designers.... all over the board and from diffrent regions.... So, I suggest.. that we through together a mixape seris showcasing our talents... but i need your help on suggestions... I want this to be a completely free mixtape... so if your not interested thats cool.. just know that... lets get some ideas...

* The mixtape will feature only midwest acts...

* The graphic desinger and DJ will rotate each time..

* we need a way to select songs.. having a poll up for every song would be weak.. but we want the tape to be balanced...

* the mixtape will be up for download with all contact info on it...

* if you want to burn cd-r's and sell in your town ... thats fine...

* im saying mixtape but if you want to ad a track from an album.. your promoting... thats cool...

*i think this would be a very good way to open discussion get promo, exposure and experince to a larger group of people ...

Thats where the idea falls off the rails, the concept is cool though. The only problem is its more of a novelty then anything else, at least around here.

You might have luck pitching the idea to one of the labels but then you got royalty issues and shit.

Their is no way a mixtape could be collectively accomplished around here in my opinion, unless artists signed waivers and some one took the project on them selves. Even then your gonna have to sell 200 at 5 each to break even, good luck with that.
