The defining moment in Owens' career, "The Catch II," was a result of Owens choking the entire game before that. Had he not dropped so many passes during that game we never would have had to come from behind in the first place and "The Catch II" would not have been necessary. He gets credit for making that catch, but he's one of the main reasons the game was that close to begin with. Owens has always dropped a lot of passes, and in terms of a wide receiver's responsibility, that would be considered choking. Whenever a defense starts playing him physically and he gets hit he starts dropping balls and the alligator arms come out.
