The defining moment in Owens' career, "The Catch II," was a result of Owens choking the entire game before that. Had he not dropped so many passes during that game we never would have had to come from behind in the first place and "The Catch II" would not have been necessary. He gets credit for making that catch, but he's one of the main reasons the game was that close to begin with. Owens has always dropped a lot of passes, and in terms of a wide receiver's responsibility, that would be considered choking. Whenever a defense starts playing him physically and he gets hit he starts dropping balls and the alligator arms come out.

I like how people try to bash Niner fans when they say we got 5 SuperBowl Championships, but it really only comes from fans of teams with inferior franchises. Steelers fans and Cowboys fans don't get all hurt and throw out the "typical Niner fan, 5 SuperBowls" shit. Why? Because they've got a defense against it. They've also got 5.

Point being, if your squad had any history, any Championships, you'd be throwing it in somebody's face too - especially when they have the nerve to talk down on your team. You're a typical fan of a franchise with nothing to show for it's history. Fans of teams who haven't done SHIT in the past but are doing well now are all about today and act like the past doesn't mean shit - until they start sucking again with nothing to show for when the were doing well. That's convenient when your past is full of nothing. But if that's the case, then why are stats kept? Why aren't least season's records thrown out of the book?
