So bought a CD off a seller last Friday but in doing some post purchase research it looks to have been repressed (like everything else) by the Japanese. Does anyone know if this copy is original?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110444477948&_trksid=p2761.l1259

Here is where I found the repress:

Japanese bootleggers have really fucked things up for us real buyers & sellers in the last 3-4 years.

Dude in France is waiting payment so hopefully someone can help me out here soon. If I have to take the negative on this I will but want to be sure first. Thanks!

Sorry Boss but you bought a repress of that cd, the original press is a DIDX code, which I have posted pic's of below from Sincere's skan, since I have never owned it:

Here is a link to original Thread on this cd:

http://siccness.net/vb/showthread.php?t=301157&highlight=g-roc

Sincere posts about the G-roc cd on the second page of that link.

Also that seller knows that the cd is a repress, he was just being sneaky in the auction by listing the press code so people that know will not bid cause it is a repress, but hoping it will sell high cause those that do not know will bid on it.

Thanks 209...I didn't pay dude yet so I'mma send him another message telling him folks have been onto his games for a minute and just gave me the 411. And tell him sorry but you can go ahead and relist it. Never had to pull this before but don't feel bad about it because of his history. Thanks again for the save!

Called him out and he knows he's wrong. Asked me to please do a cancel transaction with him so he wouldn't be charged the e-bay fees so I did to get it over with. Thanks again guys!

I dont fuck with any international buyers or sellers on ebay anymore. I got ripped off for nearly 300 bucks by some German asshole. This prick "claimed" he never received his CD's and filed a grievance with Pay Pal. Of course I couldn't prove I sent the cds out because there is no tracking overseas.

That's why I prefer to sell shit here, little to no problems, everything goes smooth and people generally know what the fuck they're talking about when it comes to what they're buying.

one negative example dont necessary mean a rule. i personally got ripped off more times form US sellers (calstate007) than Europeans (nine187), never did business with Japanese.
point is, this board should help everyone by exposing all those fuckers so other people dont get burned in the future.
L-wood did a good thing by asking first to make sure.

It wasn't only one time, its happened numerous times.

When I ship overseas there is no way I can prove that I shipped the cds because there is no way to track the package. I didn't create this policy to punish Europeans for bad experiences, I did it to cover my own ass. As it is on ebay and with Pay Pals policy there is nothing protecting sellers from dickheads that want to get free shit. All a person has to do is claim they never received their package and Pay Pal will give them a refund, and they get to keep my product.

Here on the siccness I have no problem shipping to established European/over seas users that have a buying history with me or any of the other sellers in this forum. So my policy is a little bit more liberal here then it normally would be on Ebay.

Sincere doesn't have access to that document so it makes that document moot from a sellers stand point.

The problem is with ebay and paypal not the post office.
You're wrong. I get a copy of it, when I request it. It's called Registered Mail. Don't speak for me...speak for yourself. Registered mail is traceable via the internet and the buyer and anybody else who comes in contact with it, has to sign off on it. The signature requirement is an added procedure so the postal service can track down the last person to come in contact with the package. I don't know how many times this has been discussed. Speak on things that you know and speak for yourself. Nothing is moot except your point of view. I've been using Registered mail for over 3 years now. I can track the package, the buyer can track the package and so can Pay Pal. Get up on it.

Nah!!

So even registered mail fails while fighting with fraud buyers?
Nah, this mofo doesn't know what he's talking about. He's needs to educate himself on proper shipping procedures. There are only 2 forms of shipping that allows Pay Pal to track shipments overseas. 1.) Express mail (which costs an arm and a leg ie. minimum of $35). 2.) Registered Mail. Express Mail will guarantee that the buyer receives his/her package within 2 days. Registered mail ships with the standard 1st Class overseas standard shipping time/6-8 days.

Swoop doesn't know what he's talking about. Look it up yourselves by going to www.usps.com. I highly suggest using Registered Mail on those higher priced items.

Speaking of registered mail, I'm not a seller and don't fully know what shipping rates are. I do know though that sellers tend to add about $14 when it comes to registered mail.

There were times though that I got packages with tracking number, not too many, but still some. The delivery of these packages had to be signed by me. When I looked at the pricing of the "stamp" it wasn't that high though. Like $8 for 3 cds (to Poland, Europe). So... any idea what kind of shipping that was?

ive been receiving items by First Class International for years now and NEVER had any problems. legit sellers stay legit and crooks stay crooks. in all i did not receive only 2 items but that was like in 2004 when ebay and paypal wasnt effective like today. they took $ and never shipped out CDs (chew2002, Modesto hoe), (tommartin31, Ontario bitch)
