If you're any good at SFIV currently, odds are you either have a 3S or GG background so you're probably just as hype as I am.

I can't wait for this shit, Third Strike was a beautiful game, I really wish IV followed the same style and formula, just shoulda kept the gameplay style and used the classic characters and tossed in some III characters in, that shit woulda been perfect...

That's probably what they'll do with 5 actually. I remember reading an interview with the director or producer of 4 and he said the next time they'll take such a drastic departure from one numbered entry to the next(like they did with 2-3) would probably be 6 or 7 lol.

I don't think 5 will be coming for a long time. I'm guessing capcom's next big title (other than this) will be Darkstalkers. All character graphics will probably look the same as SFIV and the engine itself will probably be similar too. Just hope they speed it up a tad. I'm sick of this generation of fighting games running half as slow as the last.

i thought i was the only one who thought sf4 was a lil too slow for my taste. its still a great game nonetheless and i'm looking forward to the arcade edition.
street fighter x tekken next year is gonna crush it!

is it only for PC? i might have to check it out since my main Dudley is in it. ive always heard good things about 3S and how you can parry in the game (that video of Daigo vs Jwong was godlike). for now, i got AE on mind. SSF:AE is gonna be a classic for the ages due to the fact theyve done so much all these years beginning with SF4 to balance the game.

It's XBLA/PSN. Haven't heard anything about it being on PC ...yet!

I'll pick up AE but am not really looking forward to it. The only SFIV player I follow (Nemo) dropped Chun for Yun in AE so it's not a good sign. Apparently you can hit confirm into ultra in the corner, and she'll still drop the opponent midway through. :/ ...an existing problem but they should have fixed it by now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLuEC3WqSkA&feature=player_detailpage#t=116s

Seriously, 15 minutes of 3S > an hour of SFIV, ANY DAY!
