Does it bother anyone else that artists like Young Joc, Chingy, Rick Ross or Young Dro sell more albums than artists like The Roots, Talib Kweli, Common, and Little Brother? Even Lupe Fiasco who I thought would sell really well, he doesn't sell more records than most of that shit on the charts...

Btw we all know people isnt buying albums these days for the quality. Bc that Justin Timberlake is weak sounds like some 1983 george micheals & Whamm go go techno beats and hes already platinum, and real artist who dropped tight albums like Lupe Fiasco, Monica, Lyfe Jennings isnt getting the sales they albums deserve

Ya should know that alotta people who rather buy generic commercial rap albums instead of reelistic quality rap albums don't reely know much about hip-hop/rap music & don't reely have a great taste in the music as well...

It's a helluva damn shame tho but fuck it!!...
I'm straight underground baby!!! ...& I keep it reel & tight just cuz I have an excellent taste for pure quality music, thats for sure................................

I just saw that too, The thing about India is she didnt do commercial appearence(like talk commercials, mtv etc) for this album she just stayed interactive with her fans like dolil shows and tours only.

Ching a lings mainstream career is coming to a end. Also I thought that DAZ album was on point too bad JD let it flop like he did that Young Bloodz album. He too busy working with Bow Wow.

He turned his back on the people/label who blessed him getting too cocky thinking he was gonna be bigger on his own, This the same tatics alot of artist did costing half of them they careers.. he shouldve atleast waited till he had 3 multi platinum albums in a row before leaving.
