What the fuck, a lot of people on Raider fan sites are freaking out over the James Jones release, I'm just like "who cares". Dude had one 100 yard game and only like 4 over 50 yards and he was only with us for a year and he's getting old. Dude would have been 4th or 5th on our depth chart if we kept him.

The only viable reason I see people freakin out for is because of the chemistry he had with Carr. He seemed to favor jones a lot but that's still not an issue when he barely caught like 70 balls for 600 yards. Crabtree is a similar player to jones but younger and cheaper and more upside IMO

only upside to keeping jones would be to have a veteran receiver as a mentor to the young guys.

We picked up that Louisville RB Michael Dyer, he got kicked off Auburn Tigers and he played with Cam Newton that year they won the national championship......I think he might be a beast.

when he was a freshman at Auburn he rushed for 1093 yards breaking Bo Jackson's freshman record at Auburn.

im glad we cut jones he wasnt that good. we have lots of WR on the roster right now. as far as chemistry with Carr i hope Josh Harper can make the team he played with Carr in Fresno and could be a reliable option when we run spread/trips formations

i was thinking today about when gradkowski led that super shitty raiders team to a victory over the steelers, that shit was sick. one of my favorite raiders moments in at least ten years, pretty sad lol. looking towards the upcoming season with guarded optimism, the raiders have actually strung a few good drafts together, and not overextended themselves with the ridiculous trades/FA signings they have been making over the last like fifteen years lol
