I just got a little taste of what it's like to be a black person. You may not think so but believe it or not I was HIGHLY offended by the exchange I had on another message board. Let me explain...
I recently joined www.smashwrestling.com's forum and was immediately flagged because I curse, and had my banner in my sig. Ok, that was all deleted (not without a few harsh words between me and the bitch mod), but I spent some time in their "music" forum writing about Tech and the FTI "movement". Here's the exchange:

If you don't like rap, you should check him out anyhow because nobody I ever play it for is into rap, but they LOVE Tech. Definitely check out "Industry is Punks", "Slacker", and "Absolute Power" when you get there.

Nobody just gives things away. And no. Tech just got back from a highly successful tour through New Zealand and Australia and is currently doing a US tour of the midwest, and is coming to the east soon. Tech N9ne is one of, if not THE MOST respected rappers in the industry.
Besides, the FTI schtick has more than DOUBLED his sales in most states. It's just proof that file sharing does NOT harm the industry like most would like you to believe. You don't just take your radio airplay budget and spend it on commercial spots promoting FTI because you have an extra 70,000 dollars layin' around. This guy is sayin' "Here's my music, if you like it, support me by buying the album", because he knows what he puts out is top quality. Unlike most, you won't hear one song from the album, buy it and then find out the thing is as useless as the Big Show. He gives you full albums, all thriller no filler. The album of course, comes with interludes, and a 70 minute dvd of some great live performances, backstage clips, studio clips, videos, and 7 bonus songs.
Do a kazaa search for Tech N9ne and see if nobody wants his music.
If you're interested in music at all, I suggest you check him out. Download "Industry is Punks" and tell me what ya think because that song turns heads. I had never even heard of Tech N9ne the day I bought the album but when I heard Industry is Punks... My perspective on music changed forever.

Honestly, I am so aggrivated by this.. I don't care if people don't like rap, and even if I think you might like Tech although you don't like rap, that's one thing. But to actually take the time to respond to my post because you essentially don't like black people? I'm ashamed to have even registered to that forum...
