What is it?
The event will feature a collage of talented underground hip-hop MC’s from the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Why?
Pariah Entertainment’s goal is to produce an event that will allow local Hip-Hop acts to showcase their talents in front of a live audience. We are determined to let the masses know that the “heat still lies in street”, meaning, not all the hottest MC’s, DJ’s and poets are on MTV, they are sprawled across America’s cities and suburbs, hungry for success and making some of the most innovative, creative and HOT music around.

What can it do for you?
It will provide exposure, practice and fun. EXPOSURE: Every independent artist needs and should want more exposure. Unfortunately, with the current state of music venues and booking it is harder than ever to get thorough exposure. We are giving artists the opportunity to perform in front of a diverse crowd that has direct interest in indie hip-hop. The fans that you make today can be the same fans that support your music tomorrow. PRACTICE: Every group needs practice the only way to perfect your live show is through repetition. In any music genre all good artists can rock a live show. FUN: We are dedicated to making this night positive, energetic and fun. We want every artist to showcase their skills, rock the crowd and get “that feeling”…after all that’s why we do music!

Compensation?
Pariah Entertainment is funding the entire production including the venue, the staff and the promotion. Since there will be multiple acts performing we are unable to provide compensation for your performance. But, we will allow all the acts to sell their music and/or merchandise at the event. The Host/DJ will also be notifying the crowd throughout the night that CD’s and merchandise are available for purchase.

When do you perform?
In order to ensure complete fairness amongst the acts we will be holding a random drawing 2 weeks before the event to determine your performance time. All the artists are expected to arrive at 7:30pm for sound check, at this time you will also receive you’re schedule for the event. Each act will be designated 10 minutes for sound-check. Event Promotion?
Pariah Entertainment will printing flyers for the events, sending mass emails, notifying local music publications and newspapers, street promoting and advertising with local media. In addition each act will receive 100 flyers and is expected to promote the event, in order for all of the acts to benefit from a large audience it is important that you promote “The Event” NOT just “Your Act” Pariah Entertainment will also be sending out an official e-vite (Email Invitation) to all of the acts, please forward this along to your mailing lists. Remember, any event is only as good as its promotion.

Guest List?
Each act will be allowed 3 people total for the guest list.

Crowd?
Pariah Entertainment takes pride in attracting a positive, intelligent and peaceful crowd. We insist that you attract the same crowd. All band members will be held accountable for their guests.

Sound?
Two turn tables and a microphone. This is hip-hop! We will provide two mic’s per act and a DJ. (If you require special sound accommodations please reply back to [email protected])

What do we need from you? (Please reply back immediately by email to [email protected])
• Your acts name EXACTLY as you would like it to be printed in all promotional material.
• Your hottest single in MP3 format. (Send Via email to [email protected])
The DJ will be spinning your act’s music in the mix throughout the night.
• Please notify us via email that you will be performing at the event by stating “yes, I will be performing” or no, “I will not be performing.”
• An estimate of how many people you anticipate bringing to the event.
• The 3 names of the people on your guest list. (All guest list names must be submitted no later that 72hrs. before the show.)
• An address where we can ship you promotional flyers for the event.

Hole in the Wall Gang just added! This showcase is going to be fantastic. Ticket info and flyers coming soon. We have been overwhelmed with the response and are deciding wether to make this a consistent gig for folks to network, meet good positive people in the business. Peace yall!!
