There was an underground tape released about 9 years ago by a group called Oceanside. It was titled "Lockdown Easthouse". The cover had a picture of Vista County Jail on it and was printed in black and white. The lyrics were pretty basic "cat in the the hat with a gat" type stuff, but the production was actually quite good. Mixing old school beats and samples with some soundbytes from the news(Dago got heat reminded me immediately of this tape), it was well put together and could have been a better package with Big June or CiCi rapping over them. The tape has about 8 songs on it and is classic old school Dago rap. I bought mine from the old school Spin Off Records off Euclid and Division.
