The White House has released the long form of President Barack Obama's birth certificate in response to festering questions about whether he was born in the U.S. The certificate, released Wednesday, says Obama was born in Hawaii, which makes him eligible to hold the office of president. Obama had earlier released a standard short form, but requested copies of his original birth certificate from Hawaii officials this week.

Donald Trump touched down in New Hampshire today in a helicopter bearing his name, immediately taking credit for forcing President Obama to release his birth certificate.

"I am really honored, frankly, to have played such a big role in hopefully, hopefully, getting rid of this issue," Trump told reporters, his helicopter sitting behind him.

He said he still wants to see the birth certificate, released while he was en route to New Hampshire, but now wants to talk about weightier issues such as oil prices.

he shouldn't even talked about it. a tiny percentage of crazy people actually believed he wasn't born here or they just had their own racist or political motives. The vast majority of the population and even the overwhelming majority of republicans believed he was born here.

and a recent poll showed about 38% of americans believed he was born in america.
and 1/3 of all republicans believed he wasnt.

so this kinda takes the wind out of their sails..
trump has to switch reels and defend some of the other shit he says now..
and the swiftboat guy who's book is about to come out called "WHERES THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?" really looks like an asshole.

its a win for obama even if it is a lie

Don't think it would take 2 years to make a fake birth certificate. Sure he coulda had one made the 1st day. Even if he released it the first day sum people prolly woulda said its fake. Why am I talking about smart stuff? Tits! Tacos! Vaginas!

I could care less and the people who believed he was not born here, could just as easily believe this document is fake, hell before he became president he could have came out with this and still people would call it fake. Rather pointless IMO.

I would question the poll results. The last polls I read (a couple different ones) were less than 10%.

anyways, it made trump look more of a douchebag idiot if you ask me. I think it would have alienated himself even further. Now he's going to have to talk about something important, like the economy and jobs. That's probably better for him then talking about some crazy conspiracy theory shit.
