The U.S. would be required to surrender some of its sovereignty over foreign aid by putting it under UN control. The bill would force the U.S. to sign onto the U.N.'s Millennium Declaration, which would commit us not only to "banning small arms and light weapons" but also to adhere to the International Criminal Court Treaty and the Kyoto Protocol.

Like they'd really get rid of all the guns anyways. All they would do is strip law abiding citizens from their firearms, and leaving the criminals with all of theirs.

Umm ok where in that article did it say anything about "disarming" anyone? It mentioned banning small arm and light arm weapons but how does that equal disarm. It dosent say anythomg about which nations that affects or what particular wording will be including to work with existing laws and constitutions. It doesnt say that Barack is gonna come door to door collecting guns or bullshit like that. I think that some countries might benefit from some kind of anti gun laws and some countries still make it even with a total ban on guns altogether (Japan)

Fact is no mater what laws they do or sign its gonna be like it know when it comes to guns in the US its gonna be a State by state policy and per the 2nd amendment always be legal to buy and own certain kinds of guns as long as you meet the legal requirments (unlike T.I)
