CHRISTMAS DAY!

No better time. I actually could launch it here this week, but I'd like to wait and open with a bang. Along with the opening of the site will come the official mixtape entitled "NWStreets.com presents: Hometown Heroes." The mixtape will be a compilation of many, and only Northwests artists. Promo use only, I'll probably charge the pressing costs + any shipping / gas money which will equal out to about 4 dollars a CD.

We ain't goin at this in a small way gentlemen.

The mixtape will feature the likes of Unexpected Arrival, Byrdie, Grynch, Livio, True ID, Crytical, Red Head Steve among others, assuming all these artists accept their invitation to be on the CD. But I see no reason why they would turn it down.

I would like to get Neema, Funk Daddy, Sir Mix Alot or Byrdie to host the mixtape. If any of you have their contact information please contact me at [email protected]. (Perhaps Fridge could get me in contact with Neema, True ID and the other undercaste affiliates?)

My plan is to press up 300 to start.

Submitting Tracks

In submit tracks for the mixtape, you are also submitting your tracks to the audio section of the website. THESE TRACKS WILL BE UP FOR DOWNLOAD!

All songs, or links to songs MUST be mailed to [email protected] . Thank you. There is no charge to get on this mixtape.

All artists who get on the mixtape have the option of having their website and a little "album coming soon" blurb + small pic of the cover placed on the back of the cover.

THIS IS FREE PROMOTION HERE, I hope to move 1000 when its said and finished. I need these tracks quick though, within the next 2 weeks and no later, I want this dropped soon after the site is up.

If you are a part of a label, GET AT ME WITH SOME TRACKS FROM EACH OF YOUR ARTISTS. There will be no DJ screaming over your tracks, but yall can shout out your website/label/homies all you want on your tracks.

No track may be over 4:30, and if you send freestyles of under 1:30 you will be placed on here several times.

Remember,

[email protected]
