Characterized by one Raiders player as "the worst practice we've had all season" under Shell, the usual 90-minute Friday session extended well past 2½ hours, several team sources said on the condition of anonymity, and much of the roster was frustrated and angry by the lack of organization.

"People wonder why we're 0-4 -- that's why," one player said of the workout. "It was a joke out there. Guys were pissed off."

Numerous players, including veterans such as Moss and defensive tackle Warren Sapp, were grumbling among themselves about the practice session, which one Raiders source described as "completely disorganized and chaotic."

when you don't think it could get worse, it does. Someone's head is gonna roll after the broncos destroy the raiders. Can you really fire shell this early?

It shouldnt have even come to this. How long has Shell been out of the league. Then he brings in a OC who ran a bed and breakfast before that...? WTF?! Any decent coordinator will be able to land a jobin the NFL either as a coordinator or position coach or in college. The Raiders have talent. Brooks was a mistake at QB though. Anyone could have looked at the NO film and saw that. I hope the Raiders go 0 - 16....maybe that will spur some action in the personnel and coaching/front office.

You think they would have a decent pasing attack. Put Moss one side and Porter on te other. SOMEONE will be open. Yet they dont activate him and now he is suspended for 4 games. On a sorry ass team , let him play. I can see a winning team suspending him, but not that joke of a team
