Like I said in another thread:
For anyone wondering, $5000 was a joke. $2000 however is dead serious.
Now.....
I will not speak too much about the site, but it should be known that it will not be on some cookie-cutter, AllHipHop-looking shit. The focus of the site will not be Exclusive Interviews and Ringtones and shit like that. It will start off as mostly information and history. Bios, Song Lyrics, Tracklistings and Album Covers will be the main focus, and from there, whatever else comes.
I'll be doing just as much work on albums like E-Dawg "How Long" and Cool Nutz "Speakin Upon A Million", as I will be on the new albums that come out. All areas of the NorthWest will be covered, from Van City to Boise, Medford to Spokane, and everything inbetween. Whatever I can get my hands on, I will rip out the entrails and put them online in digital form--CD-R, Retail-Ready or otherwise.
There are of course many more plans for the site, and this is only Phase 1, but in my opinion it is the most important one for now. I will gladly serve as the 2nd-rate site to other NW Rap websites that will be popping up. And then, if in several months or in 2007, I feel like these other sites are not stepping up to the plate, the appropriate next steps will be taken.
For future updates, feel free to add myspace.com/northwestrap as a friend, and no you will not be spammed 3x a day on your bulletin. I will try to keep it updated at least once a week, so even if you don't add but you're still curious (no homo), go ahead and stop by every once in a while.
So, until then stay tuned. Either Dirty Shoez will be gone forever, become rich, or a new NorthWest Rap site will be born. There's really no downside to this all.
Take care of the forum while I'm gone
.
I'm out of this NW forum June 5th until my site launches. When I post again after June 5th, NorthWestRap.com will either be up and running or sold to someone else for $2,000 (firm & cash only)
