aight, my cousins from LA visited me and family here in toronto. they be die hard so cal mufuckers and they've visited nor cal for various reasons here and there but think its okay but nothing compared to LA. so i am asking folks from both sides, those who experienced both areas and probably currently relocated to whichever area. where do you like it more and whats the difference to y'all? i am only looking at shit from the outside in. as a child i grew up in LA so my experience there can't be really applied to how it is cause i was too young and my experience in the bay was mainly just in daly city and i was just a child there too. well back to what i was getting at, i am only talking from observance from the music, media, whats written and how people interact here(folks from up north) it seems like the people in the bay/nor cal know how to just relax and let their hair down and have fun. i am not saying southern cali/LA ain't like havin fun but like what i observed is they too serious bout themselves and busy trying to impress folks and be hard while in the bay they like to ball and shit but still just joke and act stupid and just have fun. so what y'all feel bout this or what do you observe? how can the atmosphere be so different in the same state. which y'all like it more?

coming from someone who moved to the bay from LA I'd say that its way more laid back out here. you don't really gotta deal with gangs, just know where you're at. LA is on some glamourous shit tho, people are always trying to floss what they got, here its much less (except maybe the scrapers in oakland and other parts of the bay, but thats more making your cheap shit look expensive) Traffic up here is bad, but there's HELLA more traffic down there.
