Yall have some of the best artists around up there believe it or not. Worst thing is production and promotion cuz everyone wants that independent money. Just think about it. MAC MALL, YUK, THE LUNIZ, KILLA TAY, E 40, THE CLICK, SAN QUINN, LIL RIC & LAROO (as a group and solo), 3XKRAZY, SPICE 1, ECAY UNO, TOO SHORT, SOULS OF MISCHIEF & THE HIERO CAMP, CELLSKI, etc...All the artists I mentioned plus a few more have real talent on the mic. Alot of artists on the eastcoast, midwest, dirty south get away with subpar lyrics and just good promotion. TEXAS & ATLANTA & CALIFORNIA, both northern and southern, have the best artists. Yall should appreciate it cuz coming from DETROIT, the rap scene has always struggled to make it big. I just advise yall not to support nothing weak no matter what coast it's from. That will make the artists step it up. Just my nickel I wanted to say.
