I have heard allot of Norteno rappers, but have yet to hear allot of tracks with old school beats or chorus. How do you artist feel about remixing with old school sh**? And how do you the fans feel about hearing Norteno rap with old school influence?

I feel that it would be tight to listen to Norte artist add there artistic touch to inovate the oldies to make them some sh** to ride to. I know a few artist have already done this, but I would like to see it done alot more.

THATS WHAT SEPERATE US 4RM SCRAPS.... WE HAVE CREATIVITY, WE DONT LIMIT OUR SELF TO OLDIES AND OLDSCHOOL BEATS.... I WOULDNT MIND IT, BUT SCRAPZ R KNOWN 4 DOIN THAT SHIT....
I really dont give a fu** what the other fooz do. I dont want to have to worry what the do and make sure I am doing the opposite. I like the Old school music and I wouldn't mind having some Norte rappers remix it so it can be some thing to ride to. I like that beat used by Wood on Norte sidin 2 and Darkrooms Cute pie beat, but used for some straight rider type sh**.

I wanna take some oldies and flip it the way Kanye West does his beats. Instead of just loopen a piece over and over I wanna chop it up and chipmunk some of the vocals. Shit would sound tight if it was done right.

Yeah homie I got that Balled Out comp and that sh** is tight, but I dont recall old school beats homie. And your solo sh** I am going to have to buy that if you are coming with the old school beats. I just would like to see more artist use old school beats.

I also hate it when the homies give it up to the other side for doing some sh** all the time and acknowledging what they are known for. I could recall Nortenos use to be the only ones that used Califas and this was back in my fathers time in the prisons of California and now the fooz from the other side be saying it like it is theres. Fu** giving sh** up to them.

On Nevers first solo, he uses old school beats, and maybe on Lowdown The Dirty Dozen. Im feeling the old school beats too. Oldies would be cool too but not too make love songs or any shit like that. Remember the North Side Vato Locos song with the Benny King sample? They remixed the chorus so all you hear is I wont cry, no i wont run, rapping about putting in work.

Scraps are known for oldies beats only prolly primarily cuz of Lil Rob is not known as a rapper but as an oldie stealer. And they see him sell, so they follow like Capone-e fucking up brenton woods music.

Songs I like with old school beats Norte Siden I and II, the Never and Wyno song with the Cutie Pie beat, Welcome to the Darkroom (I need a freak), Brown Chicana (oh honey), Killaz (mo bounce).

nobody should use the cutie pie beat since proper dos came out with mexican power , nobody can sue that beat better than they did with mexican power
The Mexican power is coo, but it can be out did. Dont get me wrong puro Mexican Raza por vida. But it doesn't go into the cato as a classic.

^^^^ yup daz the only reason they on the radio
Ey dawg you're ignorant, I got nothing against Nortenos, but for real, the songs that play on the radio from Sureno rappers aren't oldie beats. Just look at Lil Rob's new stuff, the radio jams aren't oldies. And don't start talking shit, I'm just using him as an example, ok.
