I'm the guy who was born & raised in Northen/Central Cali & my album can't be in certain stores in my area, but some out of towner reppin' his city can? Last time i check that type of music only attracts people that are affiliated in clicks/gangs, wanna-bes, FBI, and the DEA. If that's the crowd that these norteno rappers wanna please, more power to them.
As for mi raza makin music up in N. Cali....it's growin' and it's improving. Mr. Kee stepped away from that stuff and started focusin on his label and artists.
J. Gotti outta Sactown put out a quality album by the name of Full Sixty. Lil Coner has been puttin together those Balled Out comp. really well. Woodie has been puttin in work and is trying to focus more of his music on political and economic issues(which is great). I support good music when i hear it and there's alot of potential out here in the bay and central valley with hispanic/chicano rappers.

Im talking about everything overall not just gangbanging, but im getting the feeling that when mothafuckas repp norte foos get all scared and think they cant bump it cuz they will get shot or something. But you can still repp and not base a whole song on gangbanging (btw balled out comps did a good job on that.), theres many diffrent ways of doing it.
