When I read about the walk in the papers, I thought "Local artists need to be there, but won't pop up." I wondered what "side" were these "gangsters" from, were they Norte's or Southsiders?... I've seen grown assed men try to smash on young 12 - 15 year old kids.. that shit is stupid and I had to step back.
I do think all these bang bang yakkity yak rappers NEEDED to be there. See if they were there and picked up that mic... you know the mic that is in front of the press and the community and you speak some sense.. well then maybe, just maybe the next time you in downtown the police WON'T put you on blast because they will think you got some sense after all.
