No Charges Against Rapper Lil Eazy-E
(CBS) LOS ANGELES Los Angeles County prosecutors declined to file charges against rapper Lil Eazy-E, who was arrested Saturday on suspicion of possessing a concealed pistol.
There was not enough evidence against Eric Wright, Jr., according to the District Attorney’s Office’s Jane Robison.
Wright, 22, was taken into custody at about 6 p.m. Saturday when the car he was driving was stopped for a traffic violation in the 4200 block of Compton Boulevard in unincorporated East Rancho Dominguez, a sheriff’s lieutenant said earlier. He was released from county jail early Sunday afternoon.
Wright is the son of rapper Eazy-E, who died from complications from AIDS in 1995.
