that's the only thing I don't like about nipsey, his beat selection. He can spit like a mothafucka but sometimes he has some weird ass beats. Like wtf is this shit? really?
bullets vol. 1,2,3, are classic.. beats are on point on those albums.. beats on marathon was average.. and this i aint really feelin the beat tho... if nipseys on it, ill check for it tho
If Nipsey only rapped on traditional sounding gangsta or hood beats, he wouldn't go anywhere career wise. Muthafuckas are too quick to write off anyone who tries to go outside what everyone else has been doing for years. He gets my props for choosing those "weird" beats.
