the controller is not as revolutionary as they hyped it up to be....basically a tv remote. but i like that add on for the joystick, that would be comfortable to use .... cant judge till ive held it in my hands

Nintendo makes Zelda which is the best game series ever.but of course the GTA's got the violence and sex and street shit that makes it what it is.Halo is over rated.tight but over rated.............

its not just a tv remote, it can sense all movement, if you move it left and right, or up and down, it can even sense how far away from the tv you are, like if you were to throw a line for a fishing game or go through the movements of throwing a football for a game like madden. and for a racing game all you gotta do is turn the controller over and pretend its a steering wheel. turn it left and the car will go left. you get the picture? the possibilities are endless. games like halo will be the best on the revolution due to the analog stick attachment, better than pc mouse setups even. I cant wait for resident evil 5 and metroid prime 3

dont forget mario bros, mario64 set the foundation for how gamers play in 3D....and nintendo been setting the standard in how gamers play in next generation systems...d-pad (NES)/shoulder buttons(SNES)/anolog joystick(N64)/and now revolution's controller.

After seeing the video of it in action, i change my mind, i jumped to conclusions. Thats gonna be tight as hell....who knows, maybe sony and microsoft will end up following the trend, but i like this idea if the developers use it right it can work, and bring in more people to the video game market.

nintendo might SET the standard and be ahead of the times with innovations,but others utilize those innovations better than nintendo ever do,so nintendo gets left in the dust...they always have something new that catches the consumers eye.in the end it just isnt enough cause unfortunatly they dont have the games to back up their ideas. so as cool as this might be,nothing will come of it. sure,its cool and innovative...cool enough for me to go buy a revolution when it comes out? fuck no

I dont think Nintendo will be back 'on top', but ive always liked Nin games, and have played the main series since i was a little kid (zelda, mario, metroid, etc.). I think this controller will be pretty successful in the end, even though it looks goofy as fuck on the screen. Its going to be WAY better for FPS games (aka Halo) because of the addons they are able to put onto it. But I dont think consoles are meant for FPS games anyway, Halo is fun but overrated (especially when you've played the real shit like Quake 1-3 and HL2 for years).

I still think PS3 is going to be the best of the new systems.
