Damn Home-E, you held this one right in the heart didn't ya, you made a thread on the siccness two years ago about nintendo being on top of the video game market and you came back to brag about it???

HOMIE you must not have shit to do. I think its funny that you actually held on to that opinion for two years waiting for nintendo to corner the market JUST so you could come on the siccness and tell err1 how you were right and they were wrong. are you getting ANY money that nintendo is making off the Wii?

props on the prediction if you asked me two years ago id of said ps3 would be closer to 10 mil not nintendo

the only game ive played on it is wii sports, it was a lot of fun, it just seemed like it wouldnt be fun to play by yourself

On the same token, just cus you SELl the most, dont mean its the best. If TI sold more than Lynch, that just meant that he appealed more to the mainstream crowd...sales doesnt equal talent, right? The Wii is $250....the other systems are 2X that much.

I'm glad the Wii is at the top right now, it'll make the other competitors think more innovatively. At first when i saw the controller I didn't know what to think of it, but now that i actually have it, i just can't wait until they make a golden eye 64 type of game.

impossible, Sony sells PS3's at a loss.

on the other hand, nintendo has been making money on Wii consoles since day 1

Good Job that is one heck of a prediction. I would have never believed it.
This is the first video game system that has been popular from little kids all they way to 90 year old people. It's great to see people in a retirement home
having fun with the Wii, a surprising trend among some senior citizens.
I would like to get all 3 system, but you can't go wrong for 250.

The majority of people on this site really don't know much about the games industry, they just go out and buy their Madden and Halo, the big name games, and for some reason think that because the box says Sony on it, it must be good. It's really odd to go to all the big gaming boards and see opinions of things, and then come here and it's a completely different opinion, because the majority here are casual gamers.

Example: BioShock. Every gaming site is giving it high 9's and 10's, gamerankings.com has it as the second best game of all time, you'd think it would be an easy sell to people here, but nope. Instead people say it isn't as good as Gears, which is nothing like BioShock. It's like saying "You know, I don't really want to try this orange, because it doesn't look as good as this apple over here."

Who saw this coming. The Wii is cheaper than the 360 and PS3. Plus the Wii has innovating controls and fun games. They don't have to woo people with fancy bells and whistles that doesn't pertain to the world of gaming. And you can't go wrong with Nintendo imo.
