on machine gun raps, who was the mvp??? nicky or equipto...overall who's the more talented MC??

i think that on their collabo CD -- equipto definately outshined nickatina...nickatina came off tight too, which made it such a dope album...overall, nickatina has passed the test of time...equipto's had 3 solo's, which is impressive...theyre both extremely talented.....

most people are going to say nicky without even thinking about this...EQUIPTO IS SLEPT ON!!

bongload- sup playa!!!! u know i respect your opinion, but how can u say that equipto is more versatile? he always raps the same dawg......all 3 solo albums of his were 2 thumbs down playa......same thing on every song: tryin to be too creative....nicky is naturally creative, so i think by saying what's on his mind all the time he's more versatile.....

we all got our opinions tho

machine gun rhymes is my favorite shit from quipto, i think fuckin with nicky helped bring some focus to his shit, and equiptos verses on that album were alot tighter than his solo shit. "dowutigottado" is one helluva cut, most fucks don't even know about much less appreciate.

all that said though, nicky smashed on that album too sick, and if i HAD to choose an mvp, andre gets the nod.

that is a classic album though, them niggas put they foot in it & i dig it more every time i hear it.

Damn, this is one of the stupidest ?s Ive ever responded to but my answer is ANdre Nicky T. Andre's been in the game for years and it feels like it was yesterday when i heard about Equipto. Equipto is still fuckin dope. Peace.

i have the cd, and i only bought it hoping i can start feeling nickatina...didnt work..so id say im feeling equipto...cant stand the way nickatina flows..and what he flows about too

i am a huge dre dog fan, got all the cds, and even helped him put on a few shows, but i gotta give it to equipto on the midnight album. his flows were raw and thought provoking, nickatina was coming with some jibberish, like he knows hes tight and gonna sell so he doesnt have to make his flows perfect.

if you guys aren't feeling equipto's solo's you should give them another listen. I know what youre saying about him trying to be too creative, but I still think his cd's were dope. I think that he could benefit from better production, but I have never heard an equipto verse that didn't impress me. Dre is a vet, and I'm not taking anything from him, but I think that on machine gun raps, equipto was spitting some of the tightest raps I've heard from the bay in a while...Both of his Cd's are good, not great...IMO his best shit was on the CD with nicky, i agree there, but his solo shit is far from getting 2 thumbs down playa

I think Dre is a better rapper, but I dont know, on that CD I think Equipto had quite a few tracks better than Nickatina. I think the main reason is that the beats favored Equipto's delivery.
