What teams do you consider to be contenders for a championship that are in need of a QB.

Even though this whole Favre thing is on my last nerve they keep raising the issue that he would want to go to a team that is a contender. How many teams are there really that are contenders, but don't have the QB position already on lock?

Seems like if you are going to be a contender in the NFL that is one position you can’t be weak at. And any uncertainty at that position pretty much takes you out of the contender category.

You could pull it out further by thinking if Favre wouldn’t want to be a backup at GB, would he be willing to be a backup anywhere else? I would think that would limit the amount of potential contenders right there too.

How many teams that are in need of a starting QB, that are potential contenders, even run a system close enough to what Favre is familiar enough with to jump into the starting spot in August?

Id say the Panthers.....could see Favre there, not saying they're a contender..just saying...the other team I could see him jumping onto would be the Bears....ahha, just because their qbs have been so pitiful

Minnesota. if they had a QB locked then they would most likely hold up that trophy to be honest. they got a very talented and very young team. just missing the QB part

I think Tampa would be the best fit. He knows Gruden, knows the system, they have some potential, easiest team for him to jump into in august.

Baltimore would be a harder team for him to jump into, but is obviously the best team with the most need at QB - imo.

Minnesota, but he will not play there!!!! Im tired of hearing these fuckin speculations. He will not play this year. I repeat, he will not play this year!!!!! GB owns his fuckin rights. They can do whatever they want to fuckin do with his whining ass! Im fuckin tired of hearing about this fuckin drama queen. Does he want to end his legacy on a crying drama queen note? or as a winner? I swear everyone including Favre needs to fuckin shut the fuck up and just swallow the pill. The fucker ain't playing unless some desperate ass fuckin team gives away draft picks for a man who will probably play 1-2 years left. And he has to learn the playbook.

^^^Favre said he doesnt want to play for a team that has hot weather...he prefers the cold chill of GB.
Add that to the list of reasons he won't be in Minn, then.

As far as contenders go I think Minn, Chi, TB, and Balt. are the only ones that are in enough need of a QB. TB still has Garcia too. Minn and Chi will never happen.

There really aren't any KC w/ Montana type teams out there for Favre.

I couldn't be happier to see Favre want to play ball but not be able to.
