Fuck no dude. They had that Eagles game on the NFL network when Vick made his first appearance. I thought to myself - I have the NFL network, that means I get to watch Michael Vick, right? Wrong.

The game was played from 8-11 and the NFL network played the game from 11-2am. I didn't even get to watch it. During the game, instead of airing it live, they played fucking NFL bloopers. What a worthless network.

It's only good for the thursday night games. And if you live in the same town as your favorite team, your thursday night game will be on CBS or NBC anyways.

I LOVE football and I've watched the NFL network about twice since I got it.

I haven't looked into how much extra it is yet.

I have comcast now, so . . . ?

I don't live in the same region as the teams I would prefer to watch so I thought it might be worth while.

It's ok. depends on what you want to get out of it really. In season it's nothing to write home about. I like it better then espn but thats not saying much.

But out of season it's sometimes nice to catch thier classic games when nothing else is on the tube. and there draft coverage (pre, during and post) is far far superior to anything else you will find. can't beat live coverage of combines, if you're into that.

I don't watch it all the time but I watch it more than espn. between nfl nba and mlb networks I never watch espn hardly anymore.

p.s. MLB NETWORK IS THE GREATEST CHANNEL EVER!!!!!

From comcast:
Get NFL Network included with Comcast Digital Preferred or Digital Premier, or get it with Digital Starter when you add the Sports Entertainment Package.

and i looked it up for ya and its $5.99 a month to add the sports entertainment package here in portland.

im sure that includes mlb, nbatv, and some others like channels espnu, big 10 network, vs, foxsoccer, maybe some other fsn's. I would say its more then worth it at that price.

I cut it after football season is over and get it back before pre season starts.......Its only 4.99 a month and you get some other sports channels also........I watch it every night when they re air full length pre season games(they re air them all day)........I love football though....Id rather watch sports than anything else on T.V......I dont care much for Jamie Dukes though...He gets on my nerves...But rod woodson, rich eisen and marshall faulk are descent.........

I love it

one of my favorite channels, but I'm an NFL junkie

when ESPN is playing some bullshit I can always turn on NFL Network

yeah you got the Thursday night games, but you can also watch all the preseason games too (they're not all live, but you can watch em)

they re-air classic games all the time, have NFL replay where they replay games from the past Sunday

I watch NFL Total Access, NFL Gameday over ESPN for my NFL news and highlights

and also like scary said, during the offseason it's cool to watch because they have in depth draft coverage... showing the combine etc...

not sure how much it will cost you, I have Dish Network, so it comes with it automatically, but I would say it's worth it if you're a big football fan, just IMO though
