Speak on it! Wouldnt this be tight! Instead of madden doing the monopoly on 2k sports I think he should have took the entire madden franchise to 2k sports and let them do the madden game since nfl 2k series was better than madden why not joint forces and make one hell of a football game.

If you've played Madden 07 on the X-Box 360...its pretty much a mix between the best elements of 2K Football...and that classic Madden shit we've all grown to love.

Really...I liked the 2K football game when it came out for Dreamcast..and even when it re-came out on PS2...dope ass game...

Try it on 360...it really is like the best of both worlds..

I tried 07 for the first time on PS2 last night...and its not half the game that it is on the 360...it was like playing Madden 02 again.

I'm never going back.

Many reasons why that would never happen.

But main reason = EA wants all the money that they can get and they don't wanna share their money with 2K Sports.

I bet if EA made an exact copy of NFL 2K5, and called it Madden 08, your ass would be first in line to grab that shit up. Have you even played a 2K game?

EA is the worst thing to happen to videogames since the big crash in the 80's. This bullshit with the exclusive liscenses results in watered down product, due to no competition. Do you really think that EA would leave out as much shit as they did on Madden 07 if a 2K game was going to be coming out?

EA is some punk bitches, man. They buy out the NFL liscense, so that 2K can't make an NFL game, then they go and buy the arena football and cfl liscense, so they can't make a pro football game at all. I hear that 2K is going to make a football game with all made up teams and players, I can't wait to see what the can do with the 360.

EA makes a better detailed game with all of the modes and such. My only gripe about this years Madden is that the Super Star mode is fuckin' gay. You can't hear the commentary, can't pick plays and can't play as another player unless they are opposite of your offense/defense. GAYNESS

ACTUALLY the NFL decided to give out the exclusive rights. Anyone wondered why you can only get NFL Sunday Ticket on DirectV....because the NFL decided to go exclusive. And yet no one bitches about 2K having the MLB license (And EA's MVP was murdering the 2K series for two straight years)

2k makes a horrible baseball game...even EA's college game shit on it this year. EA's game engines are just far superior,way more detailed and well rounded. 2k needs to just concentrate on basketball,only place they have a chance to compete

Its all really about preferece. I have always been a Madden guy since the first PS2 Madden. I hated the 2K on dreamcast and PS2. I tried NFL 2K5 after reading so much about it and was thoroughly disappointed. I thought the graphics were subpar, as was the gameplay and that is my opiniona nd I dont need anyone to tell me what it is.

I have beef with the NFL for only giving out exclusive licenses because I feel competition DOES make for better games. The 19.99 2K5 price point was nice because that forced Madden to drop their prices.

yup that would be good, NBA 2K6 was way better than live 2006 and MLB 2K6 was off the hook also, expect for some fielding and base runnin minor glitches...almost perfect game...and competition is always good for the consumer
