NEWS - C-Murder "Screams 4 Vengeance"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After having his conviction overturned in the murder case that would have kept him behind bars for life, C-Murder is back in business, prepping his latest release Screamin' 4 Vengeance.

Since being convicted in 2003 on 2nd degree murder charges, C-Murder (born Corey Miller) has been fighting an uphill legal battle. Last March the Louisiana Supreme Court overturned the conviction, granting Miller's request for a new trial. C-Murder's latest album Screamin' 4 Vengeance will finally offer C-Murder the chance to open up to his fans about his conviction and incarceration...

"A lot of people want to know what's going on with me and what my personal feelings are as far as what I've been through the last five years," C-Murder said via statement. "I expressed it on 'Posted On Tha Block.' The public's getting a basic picture of what I've been through, how I feel and what's going on in my mind from that song."

As SOHH previously reported, C-Murder has faced heavy restrictions from the Louisiana courts, preventing him from promoting the new album with interviews. The gag order also prohibited C-Murder from appearing in the video for his new single "Posted On Tha Block." The video, which was directed by Estevan Oriol, is filmed in post Hurricane Katrina New Orleans and features a cameo by Snoop Dogg.

Released via Priority Records, Screamin' 4 Vengeance features guest appearances from Chamillionaire, LeToya Luckett, Slim Thug and Pimp C. Screamin' 4 Vengeance is slated for release on March 20.
