New WEST 2 Over-rated?

i need to get it still..SiccShop Mission Valley for lunch on Thursday i guess so i can see what the controversy is about cuz more than one person on here has said its not good...it must be the artists that im not familiar with that bring the album down cuz everybodys giving props to the usual suspects
Sicc Dawg, good lookin' homey. Your comment is real, cuz it's comin' from a non-biased fan that's not even from Dago, or affiliated with any clic, and you're not a rapper. I wouldn't say the New West 2 is overrated, but maybe over anticipated, which sometimes can be a bad thing, because people expect too much on highly anticipated albums, and most albums that are highly anticipated end up bein' dissappointments because of the anticipation, and the albums that blow, or get around, come out of nowhere and are unexpected. Bein' to anticipated can actually be a curse sometimes, and make an album that is really good, seem not too good. But overall it's a good album to me. And watch when the Mob Kings (Mobstaz) album drops. Word of mouth is going to carry it, not hype! But I like more than 6 songs on New West 2.
6 songs on a double disc....maybe they shoulda kept it to one disc....i remember only not liking maybe 1 or 2 songs on the whole last New West...so this is already sounding like something i can skip...hmmm maybe ill snatch up some other stuff from the Shop on Thurs

Like C.S. said over-anticipated is probably the correct way of puttin' it. The only reason why it ended up being a double disc was because of the number of submitted songs that came in plus Reece wanted to introduce some new artists. The combination of those two things made the album way too bloated (high quantity this go around & not as high quality). It is NOT easy to make a double album that's bumpin' all the way through. Good lookin' Sicc Dawg & JJ for your input. The more feedback, the better. I think this New West is better than the 1st New West, but it would have been better if all the best tracks were compressed into 1 disc.
Wallnutz & Baby G, I don't think you'll be disappointed at the album cause the tight cuts on the there will be worth the price, & speaking of... Get it now while it's still being sold for the price of a single disc.

Yea man I like the CD, my cousin stacy is singing the vocals on Track 13 on the 2nd Disc with my other Cousin Big Yog.
I'll support diego artists to the fullest cause I would expect the same from diego in whatever I do.
I am sure that someone on that CD will get big and help the other people blow up.
I wouldnt mind hearing Steve's tracks on the radio or some of cricets tracks on the radio...

Honestly... niggas need to spread the production around.... thas what happened ... theres alot more producers out here wit heat homie that niggas either AVOID or aint ran into...I can NamE 3 NigGas MySelf from Daygo that could've been on.
