Necro isn't really raw, he just goes for shock value (not saying I don't like Necro).

Mars and Necro are about as opposite in rap as you can be, while still using shock value or horror as an element. One is west coast Bay Area gangsta rap, the other is New York hardcore, boombap shit that samples metal and focuses on lyrical technicality. Hard to compare the two. I like both, but I listen to Mars a lot more.
