About the Cutthoat Committee CD...PSD was on here a month-and-a-half ago or so, and he said that you MIGHT see a new Cutthoat Committee CD sometime before year's end. He said that he couldn't give any release dates, because evidently, he, Mac Dre and Dubee have been making it in bits-and-pieces (a song here, another one two weeks later, etc.), because it was hard for all three of them to be in the same place at once very often. Can't wait for it when it does come out, though, along w/ the new Dubee projects.

I know some folks here didn't feel TURFMATIC last year, but I dug it and still bump it on the regular. Dubee sounded like he was a little too thizzed-out to be EXACTLY the same kind of rapper he was back in '96, but his skills are basically intact and most of the songs were fun (like a lot of recent MD stuff), and that counts for something. I don't know why some folks acted like TURFMATIC was such a crime against nature...Just my opinion, though.

I liked TURFMATIC too. It had hella slumpers on there. I think some folks was disappointed cuz a handfull of the tracks were out of place and simply not good enough. But it still finds it's way into my rotation on a regular basis.

Turfmatic had its moments...Aye Bitch, Casual, I Need, and Oh Boy Its the Crest are hitters, but then there are other songs on there that he really could have done without.

His new shit is mind-blowing. He has really elevated his game and is maturing into a great rapper.

i felt turf-matic was a complete succsess. i can usually play the album all the way through. dubbie's got a style like no other, and neva dissappoints. the albums perfect ta bump at a par-lae, when ya wanna get hyphy off the heem.
