So my brother just copped this Nintendo Wii, and the first day we took it over to my sister's house for our nephews birthday party. And let me tell you, I felt like I just about tore my rotator cuff (cup?) playing that shit.
All and all, it's just fuckin fun to play. We spent hours with Wii Sports and Wii Play, thats not even touching The Bigs, Rayman, and Madden 08. However I been on The Bigs and Madden for a good 3-4 days now when Im not tending to my obligations that let other people know Im still a responsible adult. I still haven't fucked with Rayman yet though.
While it does get rather tiring after a while and you think to yourself "I cant do this shit anymore, it's getting a little old", I find the sudden urge to play it after 24-48 hours of not touching the damn thing. Which I can honestly say I never really had with the Xbox360 or PS3. Sure, 360 or PS3 was fun to do when I wasn't playing ball, cleaning, or messing with my girl... but I never found myself thinking "I wish I was at home playing ______ right now" and thats something I been thinking of lately. Like now for instance, I want to play it but my punk brother is sleeping and I have respect for the fact he works in the morning.
In all real-ness, I kind of left video games alone when I realized:
A) I need to occupy my time with more financially/educationally enlightened activities
B) I can't fucking afford any new game system: Period.
C) It's hard for me to get involved with video games like I used to. It just does not excite me like it once did.
but now that Im on this Wii, it's like Im a kid again.
So much for all that bullshit though, it's not originally why I posted. Just kind of a surprising realization if you will.
My real intention is to ask this...
what games should I look into next? My bro was talking Tiger Woods, which I been a huge fan of since PS2.
