nerd doesnt target the typical pop audience. this is the shit they do to maintain underground credibility and counterbalance their pop shit. i like the idea and i like them but most of the music they make isnt really listenable to me. not that its bad its just im not feelin it. props to nerd for keepin it real though and doin what they want and not what people tell them to.

i call their music "punk rock for rich kids who just saw a documentary on punk rock music." they had a chance of being a sick ass group but thay want to do something different when it has already been done. that's why people don't go and buy their shit. but if they did a compilation of artists they like or do a "muggs vs. gza, sick, asia,etc." type album then they would really sell big.
