I'm writing a paper comparing two different poems that pertain to mental illness. The shit's confusing.

What mental illness? I had to write a paper on Antisocial Personality Disorder last week.

It is a poem compare and contrast essay. Ya know? All that shit filled with symbols and metaphors? I wouldn't have struggled if I were actually comparing two different distinct illnesses. Instead, I had to first find the mental illness, then diagnose it, then write about how the two poems, in contrast, dealed with the topic of death. Eventually I realized that one dealed with suicide from the view of an outsider and the other poem dealt with mental death aka insanity, but both stemmed from severe anxiety and depression.
