I feel you and understand that, but I was ONLY referring to the "oldie" type beats, not the Gangster beats and NOT Mr. Criminal, so that entire explanation was kind of unnessary, you misunderstood what I was trying to point out. Huge paragraph there, eh. You know the "oldie" type $hit that like lil Rob does especially, Silencer,... Even some of the harder rappers have made the "oldie" type beats. I just can't really feel or get a good vibe to any of those "oldie" beats, you know? If you notice I quoted each time I said "oldie," that way it's separated from the real gangster G-Funk type beats like Mr. Criminal's above and that way you know that I ain't labeling all of Chicano rap as just being "oldie." And if you take notice of my first post in this thread, I said I like this song by Mr. Criminal, it's hard as fuck. This is the way rap should be period, not soft Oldie re-sampled style, not Crunk, not Hyphy, just pure G-Funk and hard ass gangster beats bringing the heat str8 from the streets and telling stories from the real street life! You probably thought I was talking $hit, but I wasn't, I'm Mexicano and from the South side (I want guys like Mr. Criminal to make it big), I was only agreeing with what "Mr. ViNN707" said, when he said, "At least it isnt a jacked oldie beat and ese, vato, holmes every 2-3 words."
