That's right!!! A brand new magazine will be launched next month entitled SOUTHWESTBOUND. The magazine is a joint venture between myself, Jay Tee, and Sickmix.com
We are not attempting to compete with any of the Bay Area staples like Murder Dog, or Xplosive Magazine. In fact, this magazine is sponsored by and assisted by Frank Herrera from Showcase Magazine. This magazine is focused on all of the Western United States (Arizona, California, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Nex Mexico, Texas, and Colorado).
Our hopes are that we can bring some of the Bay Area game to the forefront of the music business by combining it with other lesser well known regions. Through our extensive travels on tour as well as our syndicated radio show we hope that we can spred the game.
The first issue is 20,000 copies and advertising rates are the lowest anywhere at just $350.00 per full color page for the introductory issue for indies. Look for alot of Bay coverage as well as focusing on the under represented Latin rap market.
Of course the first issue has to feature the biggest boss ever from the Bay...E-40.
