Everything M.I.A. has released has been dope. Her new album is coming out this summer and Santigold is releasing a new album this year as well. Hopefully there is a lot of Diplo and Switch production on both of those releases.
nobody can fuck with mia and santigold when it comes to this type of music. I've seen those youtube clips of those epic sideshows and they hit it on the head with these visuals. this song/video is dope as fuck.
I never really listened to her music much. I liked "Paper Planes" when it came out, but that's it.
I think I have 1 or 2 of her albums on my ipod, because my boy was downloading music on my laptop... never listened to em. I'll check em out now since everyone is saying how great she is.

i never really listened to maya. kala was in heavy rotation when it came out. i got allural too, but kala is better IMO. paper plains, jimmy, bamboo banga, boyz, xr2...
Sick video. And Kreayshawn and Nicki Minaj don't have "swag" like her cause They're American....if they tried to do something influenced by another culture it wouldn't be authentic n people would call it out as phony anyway
