I listened to both tracks just to see if you progress from the last bullshit you posted and ill keep it real both songs was weak and boring 1% better then before. do you have any type of character or style bc it just sounded like you was reading your rap off paper slow and shit non of it kept me interested. also that "snoop" beat sounded outdated too like some throwaway practice beat made in 2001 from snoop when he was fucking around at his home studio.

i know yall tryna sound like first degree but problem is his shit is obsolete and out dated like a 1986 cadillac cimarron.

imo yall should try different styles bc the style yall using sucks, outdated and dont fit your voices.

Okay, I heard both tracks & here is my honest humble opinion. The first track, at 0:47 (right after the hook) I expected the beat to change. It didn't take off like I anticipated. For me the beat just laid flat all the way through. Had some good drums as the beat switched up, but still laid flat to me. And the flows / subject matter were not good enough to draw my attention away from the beat. It was a lazy dragged out flow that gave me nothing new. There are times when a somebody's flow can draw you away and make you feel the beat. This was not happening here for me.

Track #2 Came in with a heavy base and that typical sound I could hear Snoop Lion on, but it wouldn't be on one of the major releases. It's a beat Snoop might slide over to Daz & Kurupt for a DPG album and feature Snoop on it. The beat was nothing big in my opinion. It also sounded like it would make a good menu instrumental track for the movie, "The Wash" on Blu-Ray or DVD. Which I believe that is where I heard that beat before, but none the less it didn't work for me.

Again, the subject matter of the tracks that are being recorded. It sounds like your rappers are bored and have no outlet other than, "Let's rap about smoking weed." concept and it's over kill. Few & far in between can make it work, but not in this case. Sounds like to me that you are in need of more creative rappers. And your beats need a little more uptempo kick to them to give them some life. Both tracks had emotionless / no characteristic flows.

That's my honest opinion, breh. No hate within anything I stated. Just how I felt listening to your tracks.

appreciate the breakdown and the honest opinion, but the first track is bout much more than smokin weed brodie

Incisions @Incisions why do you keep avoiding these questions???

the truth is that there was a period about a year ago where snoop was making a ganga beats and giving em away to underground artists. we got this one and another one and the rest is history. no, he wasnt in the studio wit us makin this shit but he hooked it up n it's a certified snoop production...the songs are getting a lot of love locally and pretty much anywhere outside the siccness lol

That's an unjustifiable comeback in my opinion. The flows lack charter and emotion. Your rappers are not convincing. They are not artist or even trying to be for that matter.

Seems like your having a hard time accepting that part. You keep trying to make it work & trying hard to convince everybody that there is nothing wrong with the flows, but they're clearly boring. It's like myself trying to convince you to like a song that you may not like. Bottom line, if you have to explain to make it all sound better or throw in, "It's about more than smoking weed" to sweep my opinion under the rug, so be it. But your music is not delivering on it's own two feet.

I heard the subject matter when I gave you my review & again, it was so boring due to lacking what I've mentioned to you 3 times in this thread already that I didn't care to hear much more than half of the track. Meaning I forced myself to listen to the other 25% of that song to give you an opinion that you asked for.

naah, ur just lookin 2 far into it n tryna catch me slippin so u can say i got offended lol...i havent tried to convince any1 of anything. u said there was no subject matter outside of weed n i simply corrected that part. i dont mind if u say u aint feelin the beat/flows n what not, but to say it's only about smoking weed just aint accurate brobro.

Fair enough & understandable. It's a matter of mis-wording and misunderstanding. I can accept that for not making it clear. And it's hard to express demeanor over the internet, text messages etc. without getting to voice one's opinion. Know anything I say is not hateful nor in anger.

However, what I meant was: My personal opinion when I listen to underground music I tend to feel like a lot of them fit the stereotype. Smoking weed is the most typical subject matter.

Especially now when music is at an all time low and it's not being as good as it once was. It all just boils down to what I'm expecting off anyone's record if I'm asked to give an opinion. Rap to me is a mental picture, so I don't like to hear "She sucked my dick while I was driving." " Big as my dick." "She was on her period when I fucked her." :cheeky: or about smoking weed. It seriously paints a mental picture in my head of amateur rappers who don't know how to be creative enough to craft a song & really trying to be different.

Rappers like Too $hort, NWA, Dr. Dre etc. I grew up listening to & I can accept it. I love all those older albums & played them over & over. I'm not offended by vulgar language on a record. It's just when I hear newcomers or someone I've never heard before I expect a little more originality and some creativeness in 2013.
