Don't mean to resurrect an old thread, but this game is gonna be the fuckin shit! It's about time SNK created new animations for their characters. I got high hopes for this one. It might even be tighter than SFIV, if you can compare it. New hand drawn 2-D sprites? Fuggedaboudit.

I'm bout to try and preorder a copy today.

i personally cant enjoy a fighting game which hasnt got yellow ninjas who shoot spears from their hands, green ninjas who spit acid at you, purple ninjas who make thunder hit you, a man who throws a sharp hat at you, a red robot who fires missiles at you, blue ninjas who freeze you and many other monsters with four arms and fatalities.

Mortal Kombat had some cool character designs (Sub-Zero bein my favorite), but the gameplay has always felt dull and repetitive to me. MK2 was the best in the serious, in my opinion.
