Anyone had a chance to listen to the new CD yet? I heard that the shit isnt that good because the beats are weak but I havent had a chance to listen to it yet. Holla back if ya heard i or have heard about it....

Jay-z sold out when the money became more important than the music. He's tried to get away from rapping about the cars, the bling, the clothes but he can't take it back to the streets like DMX did. He should stop saying he is going to retire and just do it already. It's just another publicity stunt in the rap industry. Kinda like FTI, if that makes sense to you Zero.Media. I'm not trying to start an argument, but Jay-z been pissing me off for a while now.

I dunno, I just don't like the guy, but his FIRST album was basically all sold out and commercial so I don't see how you can sell out when you've never made anything but commercial albums.

I see your point, I respect rappers when they stay original and they don't try to do what everyone else is doing. It seems like money can change just about anyone in the rap game. The fact is people are forever changing, especially Ja-Rule's stupid ass. And come on now, blueprint should've never got 5 mics, (the source sucks) and KRS-1, already had an album called Blueprint, what kind of shit is that?
